What are your feeling on causality in relation to Quantum field theory?

So I am thinking I might wipe my machine at home and install Ubuntu and see if that gives me the performance I want.  Although maybe I will just sleep.

So am just about 3 hours into my 12 hour night shift and have finished up everything I had to do tonight.

Guess this means 9 more hours of boredom, I suppose I can go get gas, that should kill a good 20 minutes.

Lunch tomorrow with my friend!  Yay!

Anyone have any suggestions on how to best stop nail biting?

I was thinking about this the other night, and thought it would make for a good post.

Do you feel the Universe is by its nature positive, neutral, or negative?  You can throw in there a why if you want too.

Well so far I have taught myself how to make those cool origami paper cranes!
I also learned how to make a new kind of paper airplane, who knew there were so many ways to make one.

So I just had my first month review with my new boss.
It wasn't so much a review as a discussion on where I want to go from here.
I have 2 pages of notes on what he feels are my next logical steps if I want to pursue management as a long term career goal.
Seems I need to develop my pedagogy, which is both a management and teaching/mentoring style.
Plus a whole lot of other stuff.

I am left wondering though why in my 15 years in the IT field none of my previous managers have ever had this kind of discussion with me?

However it does seem I am doing very well here, and that is good.
Now to go research who Tom Peters is and what I can learn from him.
